Who we are
Community Futures Triple R is a regional community economic development organization established
under the
Community Futures program of the Government of Canada and funded by Western Economic Diversification Canada.
It is controlled by a regional Board of Directors representing
each of the areas that comprise the Triple R Region. The Community Futures Triple R
Staff consists of experienced personnel who have been trained
extensively in their respective fields.

Community Development Services
Community Futures Triple R
works with communities and
community groups to promote continuing economic development. The
community development services provided by Triple R vary with the
particular group we're working with. Services include, among others:
assistance with strategic planning, organizational development, proposal
writing for non-profit agencies, research of programs and demographics
for non-profit agencies, and facilitation within communities. Assistance
varies from the most basic planning assistance to a group seeking to
become an incorporated entity, providing strategic planning assistance
to establish direction, providing assistance and path-finding for a
funding proposal.
Business Development Services
Community Futures Triple R
provides a wide variety of
non-financial assistance and supplemental financing. to existing
businesses as well as new entrepreneurs.

What area does Triple R serve?
The Triple R Region is situated in
southeastern Manitoba, Canada, between the City of Winnipeg and the
Canada-U.S. border and extends eastward to the Manitoba-Ontario boundary
and westward to the boundary of the RM's of Rhineland, Morris, and
Macdonald.
The name Triple R initially reflected the
linkage of these 17 community areas within the catchments of three
rivers flowing in the region: the Red, Rat and Roseau
Rivers. Since its inception, the area has grown beyond these boundaries.
